Blooming Flowers.

HOPE YOU ALL HAD A FANTASTIC WEEKEND.

Mom has been home all week sick with the flu bug.
She walked around our backyard avoiding the weeds so
while out there she snapped a few photos of flowers.
We wanted to share with you whats blooming here in the PNW.
Or I should say, look at our  mud and weeds patch.

This little beauty  is a Fuchsia  mom got for 99 cents it is still alive.

This slider is from the dining room out to the patio area.
It gets the most sun so mom placed her pots here.
We have another sliding door in the family room to go out side.

Mom said she thinks this is a day lily,
it was here when we moved in and just about to bloom.

Here we have a dead lavender tree in the black pot. You can you see it in the                                          top center of this photo. Mom still waters it hoping it will come back to life.

I don't know the names of these plants or ivy mom stuck a little purple
flower in the middle for some color.

This little pink flower is mommy's favorite geranium.

We don't know what variety this Hosta  is but another favorite of ma's

Boxwood is shown below. We have two of them flanking
both sides of the back door.

A view of our side yard, there are raised beds.
we never got a chance to plant anything as it was to
late in June when we moved in here..
Plus ma was unpacking for 87000 days and nights.

Below is the Hydrangea mom was so happy to get.
It lasted 2 days in the sun. Mom came home from work
one day and it was dead.
RIP... pretty Hydrangea. It is still in a pot beside the garage
maybe if it gets rain water it might come back.
My ma can't throw dead pants away, send her some
                                                 power if the plant vibes.

The other boxwood by the back door.
                                                               The kitty is ceramic.

Well that's it for our yard................ I didn't show you our dead grass cause it is not pretty.
Mom was shocked to learn very few people in Washington water they grass in summer.
Ma was watering out front one late afternoon then she looked and all the neighbors yards
were dried out too. I guess it's a conservation  thing here.

Splish, Splash!!!

Splish, splash, I was takin' a bath
Long about a Saturday Thursday  night, yeah
A rub dub, just relaxin' in the tub
Thinkin' everythin' was alright

When all of a sudden............... the music stopped

Does anyone see a problem here?

My dad has socks on and blue jeans, duh, my ma was smart she
put shorts and a old tee shirt on and no shoes. She even brought
warm towels from the dryer for me.

Ma says...............

Don't cry for me, I jumped outta that tub and dad was chasing me.
Ma was yelling like a mad woman.
I don't think they will give me a bath for a long time. hahahahahahahahah

Somebody has to dry the hardwood floors tonight.
Thanks goodness it isn't me that bath was enough work for me.

The Wild Child Astro

                 My mom came back................................................

Her vacation is over and things will be back
to normal if there is such a thing.

She brought me back a new stuffy and I loved it so much,
but I wanted cheese from the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Who are you kidding ma those are plastic cows.

While mom was cooking dinner and dad was in their office, I decided to
give my new toy some Love...............

                                                                Cheese, I wanted cheese!!!!
Why is there no cheese in this stuffed duck?

I will not look at the flashy beast.
No I am not sorry I ate the stuffed duck.

And that is why I am Astro the Wild Child.

What's going on ?

I hope you are enjoying the last days of Summer.

My ma is blogging remotely and this post maybe delayed.

BUT>>>>>>>>> let me tell you dad and I have been doing guy
stuff, ya know eating junk food, pharting, and leaving the toilet lid up.

Ma calls everyday and dad  ask her "When ya coming home ma"?

She sent a few pictures to us so we would see what she is doing.

Along the Oregon Coast Hwy 101

The smoke from the fires made for a hazy day.

Ma and Aunt Cathy stopped at Tillamook Cheese Factory.
They didn't bring any cheese back home!!!
The prices at the factory are higher than the market back home.
Plus we didn't have a way to keep it fresh so instead we did this......

We sampled each type they produce. Moo!

Stop the car there is a Quilt Shop in McMinnville, Oregon.

Ma and Aunt Cathy are having a good time.

I think with all the stuff they packed there might not be
enough room for them to bring me a prezzie back.

Well dad has been busy goofing off while I nap and
wait for ma to come home.

Dad made this glass painting of Goofy today, tomorrow Spider-man.
I just want to know when he is going to make dinner?

Road Trip

Sorry I haven't been posting much.
With all the moving and getting settled in my mom has been busy.
Plus she is still working 3 days a week at the nursring home in Everett.
There are still many boxes in the garage too.

Like most of our fur friends summer is a very busy time of year!

My mom is going on a road trip with my Aunt Cathy to California.
Just the two of them, seams not fair to me, but I'll be home with dad.
They are going for mom's class reunion and to see family.

Mom hurry back all dad feeds me is junk food.  lol
